Quality Construction Throughout

In spring 2005 work began on our new site in Es Pil.lari, south-west Mallorca (See Map). If you could see the mess the whole place was in back when we started, you would be all the more impressed at how fantastic the place is looking now.

Judging between overspending and making the whole centre luxurious, and under spending and having it looking and feeling cheap and temporary has been a daily challenge. We think we’ve achieved the correct balance and hope that when you come and visit us and see for yourself, you will agree.

Initially we had three aims:

• For the dogs and cats to have enough space to be comfortable with plenty of shade for avoiding the sun.
• For all the cages and rooms to be easy/quick to clean.
• For everything to be at least reasonably long lasting. No redecorating in the next five years!

Hopefully you’ll agree, but we think we’ve struck the right balance. We could have spent a lot more, and probably could have spent a little less, but overall we’ve paid for (and received) long-lasting quality.

There’s space enough for animals of all kinds. Donkeys, horses, dogs, cats, we even seem to have had a few chickens come along and allow themselves to be adopted.

Animals are safe with us. Please come along and visit our new home and remember to bring any good quality new/used clothes, books, cds, videogames, dvds, furniture or whatever you have that you no longer need.

Our charity shop needs restocking and our volunteers are always doing car boot sales. Please do whatever you can to help the animals. Thank you.
